Tired of all the hype in Malate? If you are looking for some peace and quiet amidst the loud light and sounds, why not got to Kaffe Sining. Situated in Nakpil, Kaffe Sining is an art gallery and coffee shop all in one. Established in December 1999 by artist Charles Dinaba and business-woman Guia Morales, it houses the works of some of the masters of Philippine art - Joya, H.R. Ocampo, Ang Kiuk, William Yu, Angel Kangkyo and much more. They cater to different kinds of paintings.
This month of August, they are featuring the works of Ang Kiukok. This is open for public viewing from August 18 to September 1, entitled "Empyrean." Dreams, nostalgia and a diary of his travels are expressed through his paintings.
