Heaven and Hell in Ten Years After
Merlisa Biscocho

Devils and angels. As contradicting as this may sound, this is what Ten Years After at St. Francis Square has on its walls. One cannot help but be amazed by the perfect combination of these opposing elemental creatures providing the unique and hip atmosphere of this affordable hang-out (re:25 pesos for entrance). Despite the fact that the bar likes to place gargoyles and cherubs on its walls, stairs, and ceiling, their music, on the other hand is very modern. The beat drives everyone to clap their hands and to stomp into the beat. A gimik cannot be complete if one doesn't make a stop over at Ten Years After.
